The JSA released a limited edition set of authorised Yokozuna tegata reprints in 1953 - only 3000 sets were released. These comprised a wooden box, fabric covered book of handprints from the first 38 Yokozuna (each in an individual paper sleeve), and various other images, and writings, plus a wooden gunbai stamped by the tate gyoji.
A re-release was done in November 1978 - with a further 3000 box sets costing 175,000 Yen each!
These are rarely available for resale, and are seldom complete. Serial number 001 from 1978 (complete) sold online recently for around 75,000 Yen.
I have secured a bound book from one of these box sets - in excellent condition with all paper items included. The wooden box and gunbai are missing.
